Position: Vice President of Technology

Location: Deerfield Beach, FL

Reporting to: Chief Information Officer

Salary: $120,000-$140,000 per year

The Vice President of Technology will report directly to the CIO and manage a team of up to 10 Software Developers. Our client is seeking an energetic, self-motivated, and dynamic professional to join its expanding team. The Vice President of Technology will drive the company's software development, application support, infrastructure, and security in an agile environment. This position is responsible for planning the information technology future for the organization, as well as the implementation and maintenance of both current and future systems.

Requirements

  • Hands-on knowledge and experience with C# and PHP

  • 5+ years of experience leading a software development, networking, and systems team

  • Credit or Debit Payment Processing Experience a plus!

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent

  • Ability to communicate clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, ranging from business executives to the development team

  • Experience managing multiple priorities while leading teams with efficiency

  • Experience developing team members to perform their best through mentoring, guidance, and training

  • Ensure strategies and initiatives align with company goals and deadlines

  • Prioritize Technology projects and manage workload scheduling and resourcing to ensure on-time and on-budget completion

  • Help identify and maximize opportunities for technology efficacy, scalability, and innovation

  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback within the organization and encourage growth and improvement

  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
