Position: Talent Acquisition Manager

Reporting to: Director of Human Resources

Location: Irving, TX

Gather Resources is on the search for a skilled Talent Acquisition Manager. This candidate will be responsible for partnering with managers and leaders to ensure appropriate staffing levels are met and supporting the company’s business plan by identifying and engaging candidates.

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for marketing, attracting, identifying, securing, and retaining candidates. The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrate the ability to educate and coach clients while managing the entire recruitment process and understand the value of providing a flawless candidate experience.

The Talent Acquisition Manager should be a self-starter, a strong relationship builder, and an effective communicator. They will be responsible for the employee brand, candidate experience, talent forecasting, sourcing strategy, and hiring talent at the company. This individual will also be a company culture champion and driver of internal communications. As a fast-growing company, prior experience in recruiting a large number of roles simultaneously would be ideal.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for driving the Company’s full-cycle recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt personnel

  • Responsible for designing and implementing an overall recruitment strategy to ensure staffing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-efficient manner

  • Partner with hiring teams to build a recruitment timeline, strategy, sourcing plan, assessment tools, and appropriate job description

  • Create and maintain weekly and monthly reports on recruitment activity, applicant flow, and hires

  • Maintain prompt and ongoing responsiveness in all communications with managers, leaders, and candidates

  • Coach team members using observation and train the trainer approach to reinforce best practices of leadership

  • Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources, employer branding, hiring manager training, etc.

  • Implement new Recruiting systems to maintain efficiency and provide performance metrics

  • Post jobs utilizing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and supplemental job advertising sources

  • Review, contact, screen, interview, and schedule interviews for candidates, maintaining clear and regular communication with the hiring manager and providing transparency with the recruitment timeline, ensuring a great candidate experience

  • Actively network with and utilize third-party relationships as well as existing candidate pipelines to identify top talent

  • Maintain requisitions and applications within each stage of the ATS, tracking recruiting metrics including but not limited to Time to Hire and Days to Fill

  • Document and maintain SOPs within the department to ensure consistent recruiting processes are captured and help ensure position continuity for reference

  • Perform related projects and duties as assigned

  • Practice and comply with all regulations promoting a safe and healthy work environment (i.e. OSHA).

  • Adhere to privacy; confidential, proprietary company policies and procedures (i.e. HIPAA) 

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience

  • SHRM-CP or PHR Certification preferred

  • A minimum of 10 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, Health care Industry preferred, and 4+ years of progressive leadership experience

  • Deep understanding of talent acquisition and its relationship to talent management

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Must be able to establish and maintain productive, positive, and cooperative relationships with employees at all levels, partners, and outside vendors. Includes resolving interpersonal conflicts, correcting misunderstandings or errors, and applying basic staff etiquette in dealing with others

  • Innovative, motivated, organized, high-energy team player

  • Ability to perform high-volume work in a fast-growing environment and to work under deadline without losing accuracy

  • Prior experience partnering with multiple hiring managers and executives, and HR with a successful track record of partnership

  • Demonstrated exceptional people management capabilities, plus a history of leaving an organization stronger than it was before

  • Ability to meet standard measurements of success for Talent Acquisition, such as annual hiring plans and diversity goals, as well as focusing on high-priority deliverables

  • Demonstrated analytic skills and strong partnership with Finance and Business on issues including demand planning

  • Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and data accuracy when handling sensitive information and/or situations

  • Ability to use independent judgment and discretion to identify a resolution process for system issues, process improvement, etc.

  • Ability to make general decisions independently, based on standard procedure or policy

  • Must be able to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as necessary based on business needs or as requested by management
