Position: Statement Collection Representative
Location: Farmers Branch, TX
Reporting to: Sales Manager
Compensation: $16 per hour Base + Commission Potential (average first year $50k+)
Gather Resources is looking for a few confident individuals to work with their Payment Industry client located in Farmers Branch, TX.
As a Statement Collection Representative, focus on building relationships and requesting merchant processing statements to handoff as warm leads for the company’s Sales Representatives to follow up, offering business owners valuable cost savings, new products, and better services to enhance their overall payment processing capabilities and experience.
This position offers a Base + Commission style compensation structure designed to increase compensation relative to performance.
Role & Responsibilities:
Lead generation, qualify, and develop sales-ready leads through targeted, outbound calls
Leverage company database and resources to maximize lead generation
Engage business owners to offer B2B products and services
Conduct daily database lead management and maintenance, such as data capture, input, update, tracking, reporting, and setting
Achieve or surpass monthly sales expectations
Skills, Attributes, & Experience:
Excellent verbal communication skills
Strong hunter in customer-centered sales with a desire to exceed expectations and quotas
Ability to develop new business through prospecting and cold calling
Highly motivated to succeed in a performance-driven environment
Track record of success and quota achievement
Computer literacy (Internet Browsing, Microsoft Outlook)
Outstanding sales, business development, and negotiating skills
Knowledge of merchant and bank products/services and/or payment sales experience is a plus
Sales experience in B2B or Financial Services is a plus
Experience with Salesforce a plus
