Position: Salesforce Developer

Gather Resources is working with a fast-growing healthcare company in Irving, TX. Our client is on a mission to provide alternative ways to help Americans face the challenges of rising healthcare costs.
As a Salesforce Developer, this candidate will focus on designing and maximizing the capabilities of Salesforce for the entire organization. Collaborate and work closely with business users, management, and the IT team to advise and assist with technical development and enhancements associated with Salesforce applications. Responsibilities include support of Salesforce and other technologies related to customizations, data migrations, data quality, and systems integrations with internal and third-party administrators. This position is a full-time, direct-hire position.
Role & Responsibilities:
Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and products.
Provide detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions. Articulate the benefits and risks to each solution's feasibility and functionality.
Develop, test, release, and maintain complex workflow rules, validation rules, formulas, custom workflows, process builders, page layouts, custom fields/objects, and other Salesforce.com customizations.
Solid understanding of Process Builders, Workflows, and Flows.
Conduct impact analyses on processes/tools coming from new/enhanced services and third-party applications.
Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity.
Capture customer insights to improve Salesforce Services throughout delivery and provide continuous improvement recommendations to service owners.
Apply best practices and design patterns of best-of-breed applications developed on the Salesforce platform.
Develop Salesforce solutions using Lighting Framework, Lightning Components, Lightning App Builder, Lightning Design System, Apex, and Visualforce.
Develop highly interactive UI using Visualforce, JavaScript, and jQuery technologies.
Develop custom applications using Salesforce and integrate Salesforce.com with other systems and applications.
Collaborate with the agile development team to identify and build improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that solve problems and support business needs.
Translate business requirements into functional stories.
Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of Force.com development experience using Apex, Visual Force, Aura, or Lightning Web Components required
A Certified Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) or Certified Salesforce Platform Developer (DEV 401) certification required
1-year minimum hands-on experience with Force.com cloud (Sales, Service, Marketing) Administration required
Hands-on experience with Pardot and Community Cloud preferred
Experience with enterprise-grade Salesforce.com development/release life cycle, including the use of source control and release automation tools preferred
Experience working in an Agile (Scrum) environment (Jira as a tool preferably)
Knowledge of APEX development and code deployment/release management
Knowledge of the Lightning Framework and components
Experience with Classes, Triggers, Visualforce pages
Confident understanding of Salesforce reporting, views, and logic criteria
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
Planning, organizational, and decision-making skills
