Position: Sales Executive - Financial Institutions

Location: Southwest Missouri Region (Springfield, Columbia, Independence, Lee’s Summit, Jefferson City, Clinton)

Compensation: Base $65k per year + Commissions & Bonuses (as applicable) average $100k+ First Year

Reporting to: SVP Financial Institutions

Gather Resources is looking for a polished Sales Executive with banking and merchant services or payment processing industry experience to deliver white-glove service to both new and existing banking partnership referrals for our client in the Midwest Missouri area.

Capitalize on and close multiple banking partner referral leads to strengthen and maintain banking relationships and create a pipeline of revenue, commissions, and residuals with our trusted and well-established payments industry client.

Our client has a massive global reach and is a leading software and services provider in the financial, retail, and hospitality industries.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and perform face-to-face customer sales calls and branch visits

  • Exceed sales quotas and pipeline goals

  • Enter and update opportunities into CRM daily

  • Establish relationships with branch management and personnel

  • Generate non-bank leads, sales, and referral sources

  • Identify new revenue opportunities within the market

  • Perform customer needs analysis and provide solutions

  • Present pricing and contracts to customers

  • Participate in branch and manager meetings

  • Proactively provide bank partners with company and industry updates and product innovations

  • Assemble and provide reporting and forecasts to management regularly

Education & Experience:

  • College degree in business administration, sales, or marketing or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting financial institutions in the payments sector

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com, or other similar CRMs
