Position: Relationship Manager
Location: Irving, TX (on-site)
Reporting to: Managing Partner
Compensation: $60,000 per year + $15,000 bonus potential ($75k first year)
Work Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8 am to 5 pm
Gather Resources is looking for a talented individual to work as a Relationship Manager with their client in the Payment Processing Industry. Work as part of the Relationship Management team, undertaking administrative and other tasks required to ensure the smooth running of the Partner Services department, providing a high level of customer service and excellent support for internal and external agents and partners.
Role & Responsibilities:
Build relationships with internal and external resources to provide support, including Merchants/Customers, Technical Support, Apps Processing, Risk, and Underwriting teams
Provide continued follow-up to ensure all Partner issues are resolved to ensure office satisfaction and meet expectations
Assist with monthly residual reporting and delivery to Partners
Responsible for sales support and account management for assigned offices, including new relationship management, ongoing account growth, and the cross-selling of additional services to new and existing merchants of the office
Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual goals for growth per merchant account
Track and report sales and service trends to identify and communicate actions to be taken with the Partner and document accordingly
Work with partners to identify sales plans that may be required for their current market environments
Schedule education and training for office personnel as needed for new products/services
Prepare and present online training and conference calls to ISO/Partner offices and employees
Introduce and implement sales plans and campaigns to further grow assigned portfolios
Perform reviews and analyze both active and inactive accounts by taking action to engage inactive or closed ISO partners
Manage special pricing requests and secure all required approvals for any exceptions
Maintain accurate and complete Sales Office Agreements and provide updates as necessary
Generate required communication of any changes to accounting and internal resources as required
Perform other duties as required to deliver effective sales support and account management of the Partner Development team
Skills, Attributes, & Experience:
AS Degree or equivalent supported by (4) years of Customer Service experience or experience in a customer-focused support role within the Bankcard Industry is required
Must be an effective communicator and enjoy working directly with people
Must be able to articulate over the phone and can communicate with different audiences including, executives, peers, and front-line personnel, both internally and with agents/partners
Strong written and organizational skills required
The ability to manage projects and work with others to problem-solve and identify new opportunities
Self-motivated with a team-oriented spirit that is comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple responsibilities and often changing priorities
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel software programs required
