Position: Payroll Specialist II

Job description
Our client is looking for a Payroll Specialist who focuses on providing a high-quality service experience for their customers resulting in long-term client satisfaction and retention. The team is comprised of highly experienced payroll and HCM services professionals working with state-of-the-art technologies to serve our clients.
Role & Requirements:
- Organized with an attention to detail 
- Positive, energetic attitude and great with customers 
- Ability to manage client service workload to ensure an efficient and effective payroll service along with tax withholding, deferred compensation contributions, court orders, etc. 
- Work with the Team Leader, to ensure effective management of workloads and staffing resources within the team to deliver service excellence 
- Conduct customer training as necessary to ensure clients are self-sufficient in managing payroll 
- Be conversant with regulatory legislation and new processes and procedures 
- Participate in projects as needed to develop and implement improvements to payroll processing 
- Collaborate with team members 
- Undertake other duties as required by the Team Leader 
- Excellent systems literacy with strong knowledge of MS Office products 
- Highly organized with effective time and activity management skills 
- Proven customer service and relationship-building skills 
- Strong verbal and written communication skills 
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment 
- Self-confident and professional 
- Capacity to work under pressure with a high sense of urgency 
- Strong work ethic
