Position: Payroll Specialist II

Job description
Our client is looking for a Payroll Specialist who focuses on providing a high-quality service experience for their customers resulting in long-term client satisfaction and retention. The team is comprised of highly experienced payroll and HCM services professionals working with state-of-the-art technologies to serve our clients.
Role & Requirements:
Organized with an attention to detail
Positive, energetic attitude and great with customers
Ability to manage client service workload to ensure an efficient and effective payroll service along with tax withholding, deferred compensation contributions, court orders, etc.
Work with the Team Leader, to ensure effective management of workloads and staffing resources within the team to deliver service excellence
Conduct customer training as necessary to ensure clients are self-sufficient in managing payroll
Be conversant with regulatory legislation and new processes and procedures
Participate in projects as needed to develop and implement improvements to payroll processing
Collaborate with team members
Undertake other duties as required by the Team Leader
Excellent systems literacy with strong knowledge of MS Office products
Highly organized with effective time and activity management skills
Proven customer service and relationship-building skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Self-confident and professional
Capacity to work under pressure with a high sense of urgency
Strong work ethic
