Position: Lean Project Manager

Reporting to: Director of Implementation & Project Management

Location: Irving, TX

A growing organization is seeking to hire an experienced candidate with strong project management experience and philosophy, deeply rooted in lean thinking for high-priority projects, driving both value stream and cultural transformations. This dedicated position manages and coordinates the day-to-day project management of large projects and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organizational operations and front-end processes. This position with be responsible for measuring and analyzing key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement with key business processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Builds strong partnerships and alliances throughout the organization understanding functional challenges and breaking down barriers to transform the project management process

  • Facilitate the organization of Lean Management framework leveraging agile and continuous improvement methodologies

  • Documenting the flow of value across end-to-end support to gain deep insight into unmet customer needs and efficiency opportunities

  • Identify potential pitfalls and develop a solution to avoid impact on clients/customers and proactively address/correct these issues

  • Identifying, researching, and correcting issues within the organization. Issues typically require the ability to use independent judgment and discretion to identify the root cause and correct it. Resolution may entail direct integration with internal or external stakeholders to gather additional information for analysis

Requirements:

  • PMP Certification required

  • University degree (Finance, Economics, Project Management) or equivalent professional experience

  • Prefer experience developing and improving business processes and productivity in a healthcare setting

  • Practical knowledge of Lean tools and methods and project management experience

  • Scrum Master certification will be an asset

  • Knowledge of data-driven management tools and techniques will be an asset

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project a plus

  • Analytical and logical thinker, rigorous and personally organized

  • Ability to draw between important and secondary matters and switch between macroscopic and detailed issues permanently – pragmatic

  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, execution-oriented

  • Client-focused approach and ability to solve complex problems

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment

  • Stress resistance and ability to handle several tasks according to the deadlines
