Position: Inside Sales Representative - B2B

Location: Farmers Branch, TX (on-site)

Reporting to: Sales Manager

Compensation: $19 per hour base pay + commission + $1,000 sign-on bonus at 90 days

Gather Resources is looking for durable candidates to work with their Payment Processing Industry client located in Farmers Branch, TX.

As an Inside Sales Representative focusing on B2B sales, you will be supplied with warm and hot leads to contact and engage business owners to identify and offer valuable company products and services to help support and enhance their overall payment processing experience. Leverage recent trends and information to offer customized pricing models to fit business needs while also maintaining a reasonable profit margin for the company and partners.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Receive pre-screened call transfers from the lead generation team to offer company products and services

  • Review account queues and follow up with merchants that may require callbacks

  • Update the Salesforce tracker log and track accounts from acquisition to installation

  • Build profiles for newly signed accounts

  • Collect and upload documentation into merchant profiles for review by the Underwriting team

  • Notate and document relevant merchant account information in Salesforce

  • Communicate with merchants through the signup process, providing status updates and general support

  • Review and analyze merchant statements to provide insight to merchants

  • Cultivate productive and professional relationships with key personnel in the assigned customer lead list

  • Coordinate and liaise with merchant personnel, including support, service, and management resources to meet or surpass account performance objectives and customers' expectations

  • Participate in training and educational activities necessary to fulfill at least the minimum requirements specified in the department's goals

Skills, Attributes, & Experience:

  • A high school diploma required

  • Excellent communication, written, verbal, and presentation skills

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and change directions as needed

  • Strong active listening and negotiation skills

  • Computer literacy (Internet searches, Microsoft Outlook)

  • Highly motivated and results-driven

  • Track record of successfully reaching and/or surpassing quotas

  • Sales experience in B2B or Financial Services is a plus

  • Knowledge of merchant/banking products and services is a plus

  • Salesforce experience is a plus
