Position: Inside Sales Manager
Location: Farmers Branch, TX (on-site)
Reporting to: Senior Sales Manager
Compensation: $75,000 to $100,000 per year
Gather Resources is looking for an Inside Sales Manager to work with their growing Payments Industry client located in the Farmers Branch, TX area.
As an Inside Sales Manager, oversee and assist the Inside Sales team to meet and/or surpass sales expectations for the Direct and e-Commerce Channels in the United States. The Inside Sales Manager will collaborate with management to conduct interviews, hire, coach, train, motivate, and develop the sales team, encourage the personal growth and success of each team member, and maintain accountability to improve morale and retention.
Role & Responsibilities:
Directly manage, coach, and mentor a team of Inside Sales Representatives to meet and/or exceed sales goals and objectives.
Ensure the team focuses on proactive sales activities, including phone calls, and talk time, utilizing value and solution-based selling philosophies.
Train and motivate team members to complete training and development programs aimed at increasing knowledge and understanding of multiple products and sales processes.
Participate in ongoing training and development, and obtain expert-level knowledge of company products, services, sales processes, and systems.
Administer coaching sessions and written warnings to employees for policy and procedure violations.
Train and evaluate the sales team daily by performing side-by-side and office coaching sessions and implementing approved methods and procedures to increase performance.
Attend daily management meetings to discuss performance and develop innovative ways to increase overall production.
Provide feedback and suggestions regarding process improvements and updates to materials for training and ongoing development.
Prepare production reports for management meetings and keep records to ensure action plans are followed.
Coordinate daily team meetings while promoting activities, such as preparing product and service topics, and previous days’ performance, and execute role-playing scenarios to improve scripting.
Skills, Attributes, & Experience:
Knowledge of merchant and bank products/services and/or payment sales experience
Outstanding sales, business development, and negotiating skills
Prior success in leading a customer-centered sales team with a strong desire to exceed expectations and quotas
High school diploma or equivalent with previous related work experience required; telesales management experience preferred
3+ years of phone sales management experience (preferably in Merchant, Bankcard or Financial Services)
Experience developing new business through prospecting and cold calling
Highly motivated to succeed in a performance-driven environment
Ability to work independently but with a team focus
Excellent customer service and organization skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Experience in Microsoft Office applications with Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and organizational skills
