Position: Director of Marketing
Reporting to: Vice President of Sales
Compensation: $80 - $90k annually

Gather Resources is seeking an educated, energetic, & highly qualified Director of Marketing to manage multiple platforms and channels to take our client to the next level of success.
The Director of Marketing works collaboratively with the Sales & Marketing teams to plan and deliver robust marketing, communications, and PR programs. Develop the digital marketing function to create sustainable, profitable incremental sales growth across the website and other digital channels. Ensure articulation of desired image and position and assure communication of image and position to all constituencies both internal and external.
The Director of Marketing will execute an online marketing plan while increasing web visibility and traffic by leveraging best practices in PPC, SEO, email campaigns, webinars, and social media experience to generate and convert sales leads. Success in this role is centered on direct collaboration with the sales, marketing, business, and technology teams visioning and creating successful outcomes for all channels.
Role & Responsibilities:
Develop digital and traditional marketing campaigns and materials to be used across multiple platforms.
Identify and execute against a best-practices optimization strategy across all marketing channels and collaborate with the sales & marketing teams to implement.
Analyze and report on campaign performance, including delivering presentations to senior management and streamlining reporting to all stakeholders.
Design and perform usability and a/b tests to increase online lead capture, profit, new customer acquisition, cross-brand utilization, and other KPIs.
Develop forecasts/projections on a quarterly and annual basis and meet or exceed goals.
Troubleshoot changes in performance and react to emerging trends.
Explore emerging digital marketing technologies to drive acquisition, retention, and engagement to drive a continuous cycle of innovation.
Conduct customer, brand, and product research initiatives.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Assist with supervision of the marketing team, hiring, training, workloads, schedules, and deadlines.
Oversee the operation of the company’s website or email marketing program and provide analytics reviews.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
At least 5 years of prior experience in a marketing management role
In-depth experience driving marketing strategies for a fast-growing company
Self-starter with a high degree of personal accountability, domain ownership, and natural curiosity
Efficient with WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign
Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability, attention to detail
Innovative, motivated, organized, high-energy team player
Effective project management skills, organized and able to prioritize work
Good written and verbal communication skills
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
