Position: Compliance Analyst

Location: Irving, TX

Reporting to: Director of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs

The Compliance Analyst plays a crucial role by ensuring the business operates in accordance with all legal and regulatory requirements.  This position is responsible for daily oversight and coordination of specific compliance functions and must be able to address multiple compliance disciplines.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Review and assess data collected from consumer complaints to identify trends and assist with implementing new practices and enhance current processes.

  • Work with the Director to implement and audit the Secret Shopper program to ensure Producers are accurately following sales scripts and providing truthful information about the Company’s services.

  • Monitor and analyze the risk margin in the Producer Call Centers and the Member Services realm for due diligence.

  • Investigate and respond to internal and external concerns received through the Compliance hotline. 

  • Respond to consumer complaints that have been escalated to Member Services.

  • Review and analyze State and Federal requirements regularly to provide ongoing guidance and support, including recommendations for best practices.

  • Assist with drafting and finalizing company policies and procedures across various departments. 

  • Work effectively across all departments to provide guidance on compliance processes. 

  • Assist with preparing and executing Compliance training.

  • Must attend all assigned meetings to ensure visibility with all moving matters related to compliance. 

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of compliance-related reporting.

  • Fulfill other duties assigned by management and/or the Executive Team in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Professional Certifications (CRCM, etc.) preferred

  • 3+ years of professional work experience in health care or related industry within a compliance-related field

  • Intermediate knowledge of State and Federal laws, rules, and regulations as it relates to the healthcare industry

  • Use SQL, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Programs at a proficient level

  • Proficient knowledge of the financial services industry and applicable rules, regulations, and federal and state laws, including Consumer Protection laws

  • Knowledgeable and experienced in Compliance resolution processes

  • Knowledge of testing methodology, risk, and controls analysis

  • Excellent written and oral communication; able to deliver presentations in an articulate and convincing manner

  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Ability to impact and influence others across the organization

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines

  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and data accuracy when handling sensitive information
