Position: Business Analyst

Location: Coconut Creek, FL

Reporting to: Director of Project Management

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

This position has the responsibility to elicit, analyze, specify, and manage the requirements for various types of projects, as well as improve and document various departmental processes. In addition, other areas of involvement could include assisting with software testing (Q.A.), assisting with fraud prevention tasks, and analysis of financial settlement issues and processes.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Work with project sponsors, product managers, and stakeholders to document the project’s business requirements. Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, business process analysis, use cases or user stories, competitive product analysis, and task and workflow analysis.

  • Write requirements specifications according to standard templates. Decompose high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements, specified in an appropriate level of detail and the appropriate forms, suitable for use by those who must base their work on the requirements.

  • Lead requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable and that they conform to standards.

  • Manage changes to baseline requirements through effective and appropriate application of change control processes and tools.

  • Assist with Quality Assurance (Q.A.) software testing, to make sure that requirements are fully met by the resulting software solutions.

  • Assist with analysis of reports and processes, to ensure that fraud is prevented within the system.

  • Analyze various reports and processes to address questions or issues from customers, regarding monetary funds settlement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with previous related work experience.

  • All MS Office programs including but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to work across lines of business and balance the needs of multiple constituents.

  • Ability to work independently but with a team focus.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills.

  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service focus.

  • A high level of self-confidence and integrity.

  • One to Three years of progressive experience in payment transaction processing or related industry is preferred.

  • Knowledge of payment transaction processing and ACH processing concepts, practices, and procedures is preferred.

  • B.A. certification preferred (CCBA, CBAP, or PMI-PBA).

  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

  • Must be able to pass a background and credit check.
